Zion is one of several churches that support the HIM Food Pantry. This pantry is located in Zion’s Community Building on Beauchamp and provides service to people living in the 77007, 77008, and 77009 zip codes.
The pantry serves clients on Thursday and Saturday, but there are many opportunities to volunteer. Click here to see ways you can help.
God's work. Our hands.
At least once in early September, and again in the fall or early winter, we go out into the community after worship to serve God and others. Projects have included: collections for the food pantry, serving dinner at a homeless shelter, weeding flower beds for Travis Elementary, making pressure pillows for patients at MD Anderson, and many more. Call the church office to ask about the next "God's work. Our hands." Sunday!
